Cartwise – privacy policy

In short

Cartwise does not collect, transmit or sell any personal data. Everything it works with stays in your browser.

Data the extension handles

• Basket – the products you add to it (name, link, quantity), their offers from online stores and the stores’ delivery options.
• Your edits – edited prices, items marked “nie je skladom” (out of stock), delivery fees, free-delivery thresholds and excluded stores.

This data is stored only locally in your browser, in the extension’s storage (chrome.storage). It is never sent anywhere – neither to us nor to third parties.

What the extension communicates with

Only Heureka.sk. When you add a product or refresh prices, the extension loads the online stores’ offers and delivery options in a Heureka.sk tab – the same request Heureka.sk’s own product page makes. If no such tab is open when prices are refreshed, the extension opens one in the background. Product images and store logos are loaded from the addresses Heureka.sk provides. Heureka.sk’s privacy policy applies to these requests. Clicking “nakupovať” (shop) opens the store’s page like an ordinary link.

The extension uses no analytics, ads, tracking or third-party cookies, and has no server of its own.

Permissions

• storage – keeps the basket and your edits in the browser.
• scripting and access to heureka.sk pages – shows the “Pridať do košíka” (add to basket) button on Heureka.sk product pages and loads the offers after you click it. The extension does not run on any other site.

Deleting data

Remove the products from the basket with “Vyprázdniť” (empty) on the basket page, and your edits with “Zrušiť všetky úpravy” (undo all edits). Uninstalling the extension deletes all of its data.

Changes and contact
