Train ticket mobile app

A public mobile app for buying train tickets on Android and iOS.

The project was carried out in cooperation with (opens in a new tab). We collaborated on implementing new features for more convenient ticket purchase and train travel. These mainly involved displaying train information such as platforms and tracks (for both the departure and the arrival station), current and expected train delays, expected train occupancy, and information about cancellations and engineering works, together with alternative transport (rail replacement buses). We implemented notifications that users receive automatically for this information and any changes to it before and during the journey. Notifications are kept in the notification center of the mobile app. Firebase was used to generate and send the notifications.
