Train ticket mobile app

A public mobile app for buying train tickets on Android and iOS.

The project was carried out in cooperation with . We collaborated on implementing new features for more convenient ticket purchase and train travel. These mainly involved displaying train information such as platforms and tracks (for both the departure and arrival station), current and expected train delays, expected train occupancy, and information about cancellations and track closures together with alternative transport (rail replacement buses). For these details and their changes before and during the journey, we implemented notifications that users receive automatically. Notifications are kept in the notification center of the mobile app. Firebase was used to generate and send the notifications.
